IJA 135th
The IJA 135th Infantry Regiment was a Japanese infantry regiment that was stationed in the Marianas Islands during World War II. It was a part of the IJA 43rd Infantry Division. It was destroyed during the Battle of Saipan.

History Edit

The 135th Regiment was founded in Japan during World War II, and was a part of the 43rd Division of the Imperial Japanese Army. The regiment was led by Colonel Morosuke Shibayama, and was stationed on Saipan in 1944. When the United States reclaimed the island, the regiment was destroyed when all of its manpower was reduced to zero, either killed or captured.
