Georg Ankeny was a German soldier who was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross in 1945 for his service in the Siege of Berlin. Ankeny saved Adolf Hitler from two snipers while he was in the Chancellory, and was mortally wounded, but shot all of the Red Army troops.
