M1 Garand
The Type 53, 'also known as the Civilian Garand', was a rifle invented by the US Military in 1938, a commercial version of the M1 Garand.

The Type 53 was distributed to civilians in the United States during World War II, but it was not used by the US Army overseas. The Type 53 was nicknamed the "Civilian Garand" by the US government, but it was transported overseas to the Soviet Union, using it on the Eastern Front.
